That's my build! ^

When I turn on the power button, it turns on for like 1 second the. Turns off for like 3-4 seconds then turns back on! Then when I turn it off, my mouse sometimes and headset would still be on or have power! The pc would turn on by itself! What I do is turn the switch on the power supply off so it can't get power! But what is the problem here?

Solution
then if you disable wake on mouse and keyboard in bios that should stop them getting power when pc is off

my asrock only double posts now and then not every time so would check you have the latest bios version for your board see if that helps if theres an updated bios

seems to have the same effect on this motherboard

since both my keyboard and mouse have led illumination which does go out when i disable wake on mouse/keyboard

it has other usb ports that can retain power when the pc is off for charging phones etc that can also be enabled/disabled in the bios

so guess which motherboard you have might have an effect on these features--this board certainly has a complicated bios so yes guess its not the best to compare others to

2 options in bios on that board (copied from manual) may do what youre after

Deep Sleep
Configure deep sleep mode for power saving when the computer is shut down.

Good Night LED
By enabling Good Night LED, the Power/HDD LEDs will be switched off when the
system is on. It will also automatically switch off the Power and Keyboard LEDs
when the system enters into Standby/Hibernation mode

You have the latest bios? Version 2.10 from 7/20/2016.There's a sticker on the bios chip that will say which one if you haven't updated on your own or use dxdiag, might also give the current bios.Checking in the bios is an option too of course.

II don't think related, but is XMP enabled in the bios? Just to make sure the ram runs as fast as possible since the spd speed is 1333mhz.

Just a question, why not a Z97 motherboard? makes overclocking posible and with this can you take advantage of the higher speed the ram is capable of.Seems like a new build so might want to see if you still can change it.

and regarding the double posting--assuming a bios update doesnt fix it

my old asus boards used to do that especially if overclocking never did them any harm and i didnt even notice them doing it in the end lol i got so used to it

so even if you cant stop it double posting it wont have any bad effect though will take longer to boot up

there was a bios option i found in the end up to help with the asus double post--but cant remember what it was at the moment
