PCH DXE initialization problem?

I've just finished buiding my first computer but when I press the power button, no picture comes to my monitor

I looked at my Mobo ( Maximus gene V ) The debug code said 76, I looked at the manual and it said PCH DXE initialization ( PCH module specific )

I have no idea what PCH DXE etc means or what should I do, I need some help please.

The CPU requires the 0602 BIOS rev. Can you check on the motherboard a sticker with a barcode? The last separated 4 digits stand for the BIOS version.

On the box or the Mobo itself?

On the mobo itself. It's a thin sticker.

I can't find this sticker anywhere

Usually near the ATX 24-pin connector or near the PCIe slot. It might be covered by the graphics card.

The CPU is supported, so it's not a BIOS issue. Next step is taking the board outside the case and test it with a minimum configuration (one RAM stick, the integrated graphics, the DVD drive, keyboard).

so I'll have to take out the graphics card, disconnect the sata cables from the HDD? and a stick of Ram?

Do I have to take out the Mobo from the case, It took quite a bit of time installing everything and I would like to find the easiest way to find out the cause of the error code 76

Check at least if there's an extra standoff that might short the case.

When mounting the board in the case, if one of the standoffs http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-Replacement-Mounting-Metal-Standoff/dp/B00008VF6K doesn't match the right position it will short the board.

so if the mobo comes in contect with the stand off it will short the board?

oh okay Thank you for your help I think I'm going to take a break through and start tomorrow fresh and tackle this error code 76 PHC module problem
