PCI 1.0 motherboard and PCI 3.0 GPU

Hello,
I see a lot of threads regarding PCI 1.0 motherboards and PCI 3.0 GPUs compatibility, and I know that they are backwards compatible, just to make sure if I'm buying the right thing and that performance of GPU wont be too bottlenecked, so please help if can.

Motherboard: MSI-G41M-P28 (MS-7592)
CPU: Intel Pentium E5800
RAM: 4gb
PSU: 400W
Wanted GPU: MSI GTX 750 ti (OC version)

Not worth it really. Better to upgrade the whole pc.

Yeah, i do not think you would get the performance you are hoping for. Its like putting a nice stereo set up in a 98 neon with a rusted frame and tic in the engine.
