[SOLVED] PCI 8 pin to sata mother for additional hdd

Hy!

I bought a T7810 workstation. It only has 3 sata power cables, but I want at least one more. ( using 5.25" hdd extension with 4 more 2.5" slot Icy Dock ToughArmor MB604SPO-B) The PSU board has a PCI 8 pin connector. How can I use my PCI 8 pin connector to power my Icy Dock?

Don't. Us a SATA power splitter for two of your internal drives.
The specs for the Icy Dock require two SATA power connectors. So do you really need one more or two more?

Thanks, I ordered one Sata splitter. It's working. I just leaving where no one else, so really long waiting time for any packages
