PCI-e 1.0 vs PCI-e 2.0 performance

Hello,
I recently bought a HP Pavilion p6230y and it hasn't come yet although from what ive read it comes with a regular PCI-e x16 slot. I plan to replace the graphics card (it comes with an integrated HD 4200) with a XFX Radeon HD 5750. The 5750 is a pci-e 2.0 card and i know it is backwards compatible. Now, i want a decent graphics card but im not aiming for performance so my question is this: Is the pci 1.0 slot going to bottle neck the 5750 enough that i might as well just save the money and buy an older card card and get the same performance out of it? I dont need to play crysis or whatever high end games on max resolution/settings. Thank you for your time.

The difference between PCIe 1.0 and 2.0 will not matter as whatever card you use it still won't be near the bandwidth of version 1.0.
