Im looking to finally upgrade my gpu (9800GT) and will probably wait it out until the 660ti's are out since i have to save up the cash as well. I am currently running with a Q6600@3.0Ghz on a Gigabyte P41T-D3, which evidently has a PCI-e 1.0 slot. Firstly, would this card even function in a 1.0 slot? Secondly, if this is the case then does anybody know if I would suffer severe bottlenecking as a result of this?

Thanks a lot in advance :)

Wouldnt let me edit my other post so ill do it here:
Just forgot to mention that I then plan to upgrade the mobo/CPU/RAM within about 12months, depending on how it copes with new games.

You should be able to put a PCIe 3.0 card in a PCIe 1.0 (they are supposed to be backward compatible) slot but your performance (okay, the graphics card's performance) will not be great... actually, it may not even be good. But, when you do your upgrade, (provided your new CPU and mobo support PCIe3.0), you'll be sitting pretty
