Hello there!
I have an ASUS P8H67-M PRO MB (which only has PCI-e 2.0 slots, but recently got a BIOS update to support PCI-e 3.0) and my CPU is an Intel i7 2600k 3.4 GHz, it has a 32nm lithography, and modern Ivy Bridge CPU's have a 22nm one, so my CPU isn't capable of running PCI-e 3.0 speeds.
My question is, if I use a GPU PCI-e 3.0 ready on my PCI-e 2.0 slot, will it work with normal PCI-e 2.0 speeds or will it simply not work, like, at all?
Thanks in advance!
