[SOLVED] PCI-E card giving terrible internet connection

So for the last 2 years I’ve been using a bluetooth + wifi adapter on my pc, because my PCI card has been way too slow. Looking at netsh it says I have 100% signal strength and should be capable lf much higher network rates.

Card: ASUS PCE-N53 300Mbps 11n dual band

Any help would be appreciated

Not sure about this card but I had an ASUS PCE-AC51 and its pci bracket was slightly offset so that if you screwed the bracket into the back of the case, it would lift the card itself out of the slot slightly, making the speed much slower.
