PCI-e Link Width

First of all, hi everyone

Since I managed to screw up my first (detailed post) and never got it posted, here comes the short of the long.

I am trying to make my PCI-e Link Width to be x16 instead of x4 as it is at the moment.

I have been searching for the past 5 hours, through forums and the internet, to no avail

Sure there are maaaaaaaany explanations out there, but none that I can comprehend.

Can someone please tell me if there is an "easy" way of fixing this? (I am not afraid to mess with BIOS, etc.)

My MB is a: 4CoreDual-VSTA
My GraphicsCard is: Geforce 7950 GT OC

And according to RivaTuner it does support up to x16

ANY help appreciated.

The graphics card is in the top slot, right? Often, the top spot is the only one that supports a full x16.

That motherboard only supports PCIe at 4x speed max. This is due to it being a dual slotted board, it supports AGP as well. At 4x you might as well be running AGP, hell.

RivaTuner was telling you what the video card supports.

Thats all your MB supports.
