PCI-e power advice MSI Z390-a-pro motherboard

Hi all,

Can someone please help me with my new build. I have attached photos of my issue. I have a MSI z390-a-pro motherboard and have installed an EVGA RTX 2070. I have a PCI-e power cable going to my card but there is also a PCI-e 1 for a supply on my motherboard, does this need a supply as well? Sorry for this question as it may be very obvious...
