Guys,i want to change my GPU into Vertical Position,I have one GTX 1080Ti,can you give a suggestions about which PCI E Riser Cable i used to?and work without any problems (no signal at monitor,blank,etc)..
Thermaltake is the greatest one vendor but price for the cable is expensive, more review for that and i see more negative reviews for that cable (Thermaltake PCI e Extender/Riser)..
Please help me guys..
My PSU is EVGA 850 G2 Supernova 850Watt..
BIG APPRECIATE..

Solution
Thats fine. Have a look here at some of the different riser cables. Seems the twin axial cable is the way to go in terms of quality and performance which the riser brand 3M cable is highly regarded.

Hope it helps.
If you move it to "vertical" position, isn't that going to mean that the rear of the card is no longer matching up with the slot in the back of the case? That'll make it harder to connect to your monitor, & therefore increase the risk of "no signal at the monitor" that you're trying to avoid.

I would avoid TT riser cable according to that video for sure.

Seems the 3M extension cable (Mentioned in comments below) seems to be a better brand - https://www.digikey.com/catalog/en/partgroup/pci-express/30025

Do the research and if the 3m brand costs more than the TT and you find is more consistent with positive feed back then consider it.

Riser adapters can come in different forms, the TT extender you described in the video above is an extender cable which you can extend to another slot opening of the case - Long as nothing of the motherboard is blocking easy access to video ports mentioned above.

If you want some of the best PCIe extender/riser cables, you should check out Linkup.
They have excellent customer service and are open to helping out with problems (example their one shown below on Amazon did not match the mounting holes on a Thermaltake View 71 vertical mount, so they offered to drill some matching holes for me.
They are more expensive than the manufacturer's ones, but they far exceed them in specs.
Here is their website - https://linkup.one/
Here is an example on US Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CS32WKJ?th=1&ref_=nav_ya_signin&
