[SOLVED] PCI-E1 vs PCI-E2?

My PC has 2 6 pin cables labelled PCI-E1 and PCI-E2. What does that mean? Can I use them to convert to 8-pin GPU power?

GPU: RTX A5000 24GB

It works fine on Windows but tops the PSU when I use my main OS (Ubuntu) while stressing the GPU to max TDP. An issue I posted: https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/unable-to-stress-nvidia-rtx-a5000-on-ubuntu/229562/2

A cheap, group-regulated PSU that's probably a decade old or worse has zero business being connected to this GPU ever.

Both of those cables are the same, they are just as #1 & # 2 so you know that you have 2 of them available, and can be used individually or at the same time if needed.

It may be possible to convert them to 1- 8pin connector, IF such an adapter even exists...

But the best thing would be to get a psu with 8pin connectors & cables from the start and use them instead of risking damage to your GPU with some wonky adapter

And I would feel very uncomfortable about using any PSU made by a company named "SparklePower"

During its time Sparkle Power was one of the better power supply lines.

It's made by FSP, so it's not absolutely horrible or anything. But it's really old and group-regulated. At most, this should be in an office machine without a GPU.
