PCI Express 3.0 on 2.0 slot?

Hello,

I want to upgrade my current video card (NVIDIA GeForce GT 530) to an AMD Radeon HD 7750. But the HD 7750 is using PCI Express 3.0, and my PC only supports 2.0. I heard that a PCI Express 2.1 GPU works fine on a PCI Express 2.0 slot. So, will a PCI Express 3.0 GPU also work on a PCI Express 2.0 slot?

Yes PCI Express 3.0 is backwards compatible with PCI Express 2.0 slots.
