Hello there, My current Motherboard: MSI K9AGM2 says on the package that it supports 1 PCI-Express 16z VGA card
and 1 PCI-Express 1x.. does this mean i cant run a card that supports PCI-express 2.0 like the 4870 that im going to buy.

Thank you.

No Nytz, pci express is backwards compatible, you can run a 2.0 card in a 1.xx slot, or a 1.xx card in a 2.0 slot without problems.

1x16 has the same bandwidth as 2x8, and 2x18 has twice what 1x16 has and you can run any card in any of those, exen in a pcie 1x8 although it would be a bottleneck to your card.
