Question pci express slots (if broken)

hi guys want to understand what r two types of pci express slots

i have a rox strix b360 h motherboard

this is mentioned in the motherboard picture
2 x PCIe 3.0 x 16(x16/x4)

i am using primary pci e slot

just wanted to ask if my primary slot gets broken or gets faulty
can i use the second slot for my gfx card?
what kind of performance difference will i get using second slot.?

You're currently using the right PCI-Express slot. The other slot is a x4 slot, which simply won't give you the bandwidth you'll need for a graphics card. I can't tell how much performance loss there will be using the other slot, but my guess is significant.

Long answer short, you can't use the other slot for your graphics card's full potential.
