Im plannin on gettin a rad 9800 pro...and since it doesnt take up a pci slot i could either get it a vga fan or a pci slot fan...will a simple 10 dollar pci slot fan be enough to cool the card down? Thanks.

Heck why get a fan at all unless you plan on over-clocking the card.It runs fine with stock set-up out of the box.If overclocking is the case 10 bucks will be a waste of money,If you worried about heat why not get the ultra 256 and be done with it (memory heatsinks and all),besides you will have better warranty.

I think it's a good idea to add extra cooling to the card. The stock cooling solution is most likely...barely adequate. A slot cooler would probably add just a little insureance against overheating it.
