Hey all,
I made a noob mistake and THOUGHT I had integrated graphics on my motherboard but as I put everything together, I went to plug in the monitor and of course, I was unable to do so because there is NO integrated graphics on the motherboard.
Realizing I made this terrible mistake, I took out my old PCI graphics card and put it in the new motherboard and plugged in the monitor. I turned on the computer but I did not see anything. Is there a reason why my PCI graphics card did not work for this motherboard?
Secondly, when I buy the DDR3 graphics card and turn on my computer for the first time, will I be able to see the monitor right away? I am confused about this process because Windows is not even installed yet. The hardware is not even installed, just simply plugged into the motherboard. Will I be able to see the monitor after plugging in the DDR3 graphics card and turning on the computer for the first time?
Looking forward to your replies and thanks in advance!
