PCI Graphics card that is windows 10 compatible

Hi,

Does anyone know of a PCI graphics card that has drivers for windows 10?
With the almost extinction of PCI slots, I'm finding it real difficult to find one...

I think you might have not read my post in full as the problem here is the PCI slot, not the graphic card.
New drivers are pci-express and not pci which seems to be extinct. Do you know of any new graphic card which is PCI?

There seems to be some confusion here. There is both PCI and PCIe, which are completely different expansion slots, obviously PCI is much older and sometimes not included on new motherboards.
As for PCI graphics cards, they don't exist. Either they are PCIe, or on really old computers, AGP....which was a specialized slot that is a bit shorter than a PCI.

sorry mate, that is not correct, PCI is a precursor of PCI express.

Yeah, that's my general impression as well, but was wondering if there is any card out there that is still supported by windows 10. My MB is quite recent but on-board graphics card is not supported by windows 10 and expansion slot is a PCI...

A recent MB without a PCIe slot? To the best of my knowledge there was never a PCI graphics card, so you're not going to find one to operate on Windows 10.

A recent MB without a PCIe slot? To the best of my knowledge there was never a PCI graphics card, so you're not going to find one to operate on Windows 10.

Yeah, my MB is an intel D2500HN and it comes with a PCI slot, although there were versions with PCI-e. There are some PCI graphics cards, but as they are old, there doesn't seem to be any driver for them on windows 10. An example is the nVidia Geforce FX5200, which had a pci version.

Ok, seems you are right, there use to be PCI graphics cards. I Goggled (as I'm sure you have) and didn't find anything.

I did find a thread from 3 years ago in which someone was saying PCI cards were impossible to get anymore......so if they were gone 3 years ago, you're not going to find one now, sorry.

There are PCI video cards on newegg. I feel old now cuz I still remember when AGP video cards were a new technology...
