hi,ihav grafig card omboard.i want to us ext card,in bios i chang to pci/igd from peg/igd.but when i start pc,what i get its black screen.pleas what i sheel do .thanks k r albert

You should load the driver for the new graphics card before you changeover to it.

Hello, writing on my fathers behalf. ( abbanibi )

Tryed and testet so far:

We installing drivers before inserting.

I resettet bios ( with the new card in )

i tryed all settings in bios

i formatted the computer and installed win7 ( vista before )

ive changed the psu from a 150w to 450w ( card requires 400 rec )

i inserted an older win 7600 gt ( fans are spinning, but still black screen )

i testet the card we are hoping to install now ( XFX 5450 ) it works fine.

in integrated perhiphals i only have to option to turn off onboard audio/LAN...


System Specs.

Its an old packardbell istart 1379 N

Mobo Rc415

CPU: intel celeron 3.46 ghz

Onboard graphics : Radeon Xpress 200 series ( 1100 )

( can be more detailed if wanted. )


Hope anyone has some ideas, im running out of them.. very frustrating problem.
