Seeing as all PCI devices - that I can currently think of - add some functionality via some extra ports, whether internal ones or external.. I can't think of <i>any</i> PCI cards which could be emulated in software, so I can only think I'm misunderstanding what you mean.

What exactly do you mean?

ummm... What's the point in it? If you're not getting SCSI performance, or more importantly it's not adding the ability to physically attach SCSI devices, then why bother?

Hehe, d00d, it's for loading my CD images. The SCSI emulator takes a Bin or ISO and mounts that image so that Windows thinks it's an actual CD. Heck, Nero even has one of those.

It's better than SCSI performance! A CD image on an IDE hard drive is definately faster than a SCSI CD-ROM!
