PCI Slot Available on Laptop. What can I do with this?

Hi everyone.

I would like to ask you some questions about PCI slots as I am not sure what they are for still.

You see, I ran the program Speccy on my laptop and apparently I have a PCI slot available on it.

This is what Speccy reported:

Can anyone tell me what I can do with this PCI slot which is apparently not in use? What is this PCI slot for and what can I do with it?

Currently in my laptop, I have an Intel HD Graphics 530 (HP) graphics card which is an integrated graphics card. Could I use the available PCI slot to add a discrete graphics card if I wanted to? Would installing and setting up such a graphics card in the available PCI slot that my computer has make things like games and image/video editing perform significantly better?

single lane is not GPU type. Its wifi card or SD-card reader or additional USB port ETC.
its very hard to add GPU inside laptop. it must be DESIGNED to have gpu or you will not have enough cooling/power for it. Other option is external GPU if your laptop is Quite new.
