PCI slot blower

anyone used a PCI slot blower like this:

Does it make a difference or is it a waste of space?

I used one, and it's a waste of space. Instead of cooling, it got in the way, and stopped the normal airflow pattern through the case. All my other PCI cards got overheated! 8O

High noise and low flow. I'd go for a more traditional exhaust fan.
