My situation is the following: so the other day I was looking for a program to check my temperatures detailed because on HWMonitor one of the motherboard sensors was reading 93°c and I didn't care too much.

Two days ago I downloaded Aida64 extreme trial and on the sensors tab, I noticed the 90°c was on the PCI express slot. Something is wrong, the gpu never goes above 70°c.

My mobo: Gigabyte Z370m-DS3H
Gpu: MSI GTX 1050 Ti Aero ( it gets powered through the motherboard, no cables connected, maybe there's an issue with that).

Thanks for Helping!

First of all thanks for the help. I did what you said and unfortunately there's no PCI-e sensor, it shows me the temperatures of CPU, PCH, System 1 and VRM MOS, which on idle are 26, 41, 33, 43 respectively. Should I not care?

Well the software doesn't say it's fine, it just shows very few component thermals, so I have no idea if the pci express slot is actually overheating or not.
