PCI SLOTS info

So I'm wondering what pc parts use pci slots. I'm building a pc and wondering because my mother board only has 3 slots.

PCI or PCIE? Things like GPU's, SSD'S, WiFi cards, network adapters, sound cards, RAID controllers etc. If you mean the PCI slots,not a lot these days as PCIE is so much faster.
