[SOLVED] PCI to PCIEx1 adapter?

Hi first time posting. Cant seem to find right awnser. My wife pc has a ga-78lmt-usb3 r2 MB and her pcie slot is blocked by her gpu. Cant even see it. I am trying to add a wifi card to her pc instead of her usb one which is giving problems. Is there a wifi card for pci ? Or some type of adapter to convert her pci slot to pci e? Thanks

I'd probably recommend something like a PCI-Ex1 extension cable
https://www.amazon.com/Express-Extender-Extension-Gold-Plated-Connector/dp/B07JMNYNFF

You should be able to plug this into the PCI-Ex1 expansion slot, beneath the cooling shroud of the graphics card.
