PCIe 16x asus p5b

hey guys
i always thought my pc support pcie 2x16 , maby by sth writen on motherboard from those days (2007)

checking online and now i'm almost sure its v1
so here is my question, (if i dont want to upgrade my CPU)

does upgrading to p5QC make my games run better?
by getting a p5QC , does upgrading from DDR2 to 3 worth it for gaming? like how much more fps can i get?

Dota2 and WOW are my main games...
i was able to play RoTR/resident evil 7/ and gears of war 4

in gears of war4 , either fullHD low or HD with med/high setting

here are my specs:
p5b
q8300
6GB ram D2 (2*2/2*1)
nvidia 440 (get a 1030 soon)

Changing the motherboard isn't going to help in any such way as to be worth the cost. Save your money.

really? so whats the point of V2 or 3 if original one can do all the work?

Later versions do it better or more efficiently. I just said that the minimal improvements, if you even notice them, are not worth the cost.

i saw the price on 2nd hand CPU&mobo
either i5 2400 or 3470 , but still looking for 2nd hand board and i am confiused with chipsets, h61/67
