Question PCIe 1x in 8x slot?

I have a Maximus IX Hero and all of the 3 PCIe 3.0 x1 slots are full. I also have a GTX 1080 in the
PCIe 3.0 x16 slot. I want to add another PCIe x1 card and was planning on using it in one of the other slots which are listed in the manual as PCIe 3.0 x8 and PCIe 3.0 x4. I'm concerned it'll lower the speed of my graphics card. Is that the case?

use the pcie x4. it will be running as x2

*1 The PCIe x4_3 slot shares bandwidth with PCIex1_3. The PCIe x4_3 is default set at x2 mode.

Thanks! That's what I was hoping was the case. Out of curiosity, I'm using a card in
PCIe 3.0 x1_1, is that limiting my video card in PCIe 3.0 x16/x8_1? Would moving all the PCIe x1 cards to the bottom slots work better?

the gpu x16 use cpu lanes. not share to the other slot
