I searched and found nothing. I dont see any motherboards on the market that support SLI with the PCIe 2.0 Standard.

I realize that the 8800GT and possibly the G92 8800GTS may not take full advantage of the PCIe 2.0 bandwidth, BUT id like to be ready for future cards (9 series perhaps).

I have read that the ASUS Bearlake suppports PCIe 2.0 SLI, but only at 16x and 4x.

So, enlighten me folks!

Thanks! 😀

true sli is only available on Nvidia chipset mobos. PCIe 2 will be supported in the 7xx series that is (was?) due sometime this month...

Thanks for that information, exactly what I needed.

There are still a lot of folks debating the details, but it sounds like the new boards will be 780i and 790i.

As apposed to spreading possible misinformation about the specs, I will just suggest that you google the two models to get additional specs. :)
