Hi
I need PCIE 2.0 x1 (3.0 will do as it is backward compatible) SATA III expansion with at least 4 SATA internal ports, more is better, but not necessary.
I am looking for substitution for mine PCI expansion card, which slows down the whole PC, booting time with SSD Primary getting longer and longer, plus I think my PCI expansion card is dying now, as I can not access BIOS, which is acting strange, so slooow.
Short specs.
Dell Inspiron 570 AMD SATA II motherboard with main specs are in My Signature. I don't care about RAID, only expansion. Durability is a MUST, as my PCI SATA expansion cards have low life span, current one is second in 3 years.
Preferably low profile or full height, but short as it will block at least one of my GTX 660 fans (2 fan GPU).
If very good regular size card exists, I will use PCIE 2.0 x1 extension cable and drop the card on the bottom of my case, or use cable ties to attach to something.
Something like this IO Crest 4 Port SATA III PCI-e 2.0 x1
Need more examples, like 3 or more, so I can read all comments and make choice, which will last and perform.
I live in USA for parts.
