I unfortunately bought a stock computer a few years back before I had a job, so my budget was low, and am now looking to upgrade it.

It is an Aspire M3910

CPU - i3 duel core 540 3.06 GHz
GPU - stock (Want to upgrade)
Mobo - MB.SDX07.002 MBSDX07002 S1156 H57H-AM2 V:2.0
RAM - One card of 2 GB of Stock (want to upgrade and/or replace)
PSU - fsp300 - 60tha (1pf) which is stock (definately willing to upgrade to 500W or 600w)

Now I was recommended HD 7850 for GPU and the Seasonic S12II 520W from someone for a PSU upgrade. I'll have to look into their compatibility as well as different upgrades. However, I would like to know what your opinion would be on performance. Would it overclock too often? Would my GPU get bottlenecked? Is the Sappire Radeon 7850 compatible? I can't seem to figure out if my MoBo has a PCI-E x16 1.0 or 2.0. I have ready mixed answers on a few sites supposedly listing the specs. I can't find my manual, and most sites don't have the exact specs for my MoBo. Very frustrating.

Thanks for any help and time spent reading my post. I look forward to getting a response.

It should, but I want to make sure everything will run smoothly and I wont be wasting money. I don't want the performance dropping, for it to get bottle necked, or even overclocked.

I also want to see whether I have a PCI-E x16 1.0 or a 2.0. I would rather a 2.0, I know 1.0 would work, but I don't want a lower Bandwidth if at all possible. So knowing which version it is would be lovely. I have done my research and have found close to nothing, and what I have found on it is contradictory.
