PCIe 3.0 compatibility

I'm building a new pc and need a wireless adapter, I found one on newegg but its a 32bit PCI, will it be compatable with a pcie 3.0 slot

Btw-the first and second to last pcie3.0 will be taken up by dual slot cards as will the first pcie1.0 by an internal ssd, only slot left is the pcie 3.0

No PCIe and PCI are not compatible. PCIe x16 slots can take any PCIe card though, x1 x4 x8 will all fit and work in a PCIe x16

pci-e 3.0 is backwards compatable with pci-e 2 and pci-e1 devices

32 bit has nothing to do with PCI-e 3.0

If it an older PCI-e, it is suppose to backward compatible anyway

If you are running a 64 bit operating system you might have trouble.
