hasslots for two m.2 drives. I have an nvme drive in the top slot that uses the thermal guard. Will the slot below it support the speeds of a nvme or should I go with a standard m.2?

Solution
It'll support the sequential speeds of a lower end NVMe SSD. Which is still considerably better than an SATA M.2 SSD. Plus you get the big benefit of higher IOPS of NVMe.
