Hello.
Am willing to run an PCIe 3 graphic card on a PCIe 2. The seller said that the card won't work 100% it won't give its full potential so i want to know how good will the card work. Will it lose like 20%-30? Thank you

Solution
it will work no problem assuming your psu meets the power requirements of the card.
pci-e2 and 3 are 100% compatible.

pci-e3 has x2 the bandwidth of pci-e 2 but considering most gpu's wont get close to maxing out pci-e2 so theres no way your gonna lose 20-30%
you may lose 1-3% max due to optimizations made to the newer standards I/O. but thats it unless your running titans or 2070+
