You're only about 2.5 years late to the party! LOL

No one is wondering how an RX 6600 XT will perform on a PCIe 7.0 connection. What they're wondering is when we'll have PCIe 7.0 (consumer) platforms and hardware, and whether there will be a performance benefit. You can tell how "bottlenecked" GPUs are by the fact that Nvidia is only how moving to PCIe 5.0 with the 50-series, even though that's been ready for over three years.
Slow down and read the comments. There's a half dozen discussing that exact GPU. And anyways, I'm in complete agreement, writing articles about what PCIe 6 is gonna be like is no less worthless than throwing a "going away" planning a party for the people going to colonize mars.

We're a tech site, we cover tech news, so developments of PCIe 6, 7, etc. will be of interest. But this article was written 2.5 years ago is my point. The last comment before yours was from June 22, 2022. I'm sure PCIe 7.0 is much closer to being finished now than it was at the time this was written. Calling the article "silly" 30 months after the fact is also silly, basically. LOL

Some day, people will probably actually try to go colonize Mars, for real. And at some point they'll deserve a going away party. 🥳

?
You're the first person to refer to an RX 6600 (XT) in this thread...
Literally no one else had mentioned "that exact GPU" before you commented.
