Question Pcie Cable For my GTX1050TI

Hey guys,

So I've recently bought a gtx 1050ti G1 4gb Gaming gpu but I am needing a 6pin pcie connector. I only have two 4pin connectors running from my psu. Can I get a converter of some sorts that will connect the two 4pin to a 6pin?

What make and model of power supply do you have? If it has no PCIe power connectors, 6 or 8 (which can be configured as 6+2) pin, that PSU is very suspect.

PSU: Channel Well Technology GPA300P 300w
CPU: i7-4771
Motherboard: Asus H81M-C

I was given this pc for free by the way.

I would recommend either upgrading your power supply or getting a graphics card that doesn't not require an additional power connector.

I do want to upgrade my psu for sure, however I don't have the money for it at this moment in time and am looking for a cheaper solution. I just wanted to know if it's possible for me to connect the two 4pin cables to my 6pin gpu

Yes, it is possible, you'd need a molex to 6 pin adapter. Not really recommended, but it's your call.
