1080 TI strix OC
Seasonic 850W Titanium 80+

I have a 1080TI strix that is having issues with freezing crashing. I have tested with a different gpu and a psu so I know the issue is with the graphics card or the cables. Can anyone tell me if this is what the PSU side of the PCIE cables is supposed to look like? And if not then what cables do I need? I am asking because 2 of the holes don't have metal connectors on each cable on the PSU side.

Sorry to repost, I simplified my previous post so it should be easier to help with now.
Any info would be very helpful, thanks.

Are you sure those are correct cables and not from some other PSU?

Modular cables are not interchangeable between different PSU models. Using wrong cables can damage hardware connected.

Thanks for the response.

Yes, these cables came with the PSU. They work fine with the 970 I swapped to for testing. So I was thinking maybe the 1080ti required more than the 970 on the PSU side of the cable? Is it normal for there to only be 6 metal connectors?
