I installed a Samsung 970 Evo Plus as the main drive in my system today. Motherboard is an MSI Tomahawk Z390. The drive was recognized. I have windows installed and running and its running well. I went into the bios to check some things and noticed the 980 is not listed as such but rather as PCIE Device (Remapping). All the other drives have the drive model or name along with capacity. Any help appreciated. Even though all seems to be working I feel like something may be configured incorrectly.

This ended up just being user error I suppose. My MB has an M.2 1 and an M.2 2 slot. There is a heatsink installed on the second slot from the manufacturer so I assumed this is where I should install my NVMe. I moved it to M.2 1 slot and its all good. I read the manual and never see it mentioned that you should use slot M.2 1 if you are only installing one module. The only part in the manual that suggests this is a diagram showing different configurations when installed NVMe and how each affects the SATA ports. It shows M.2 1 being used, M.2 1 and M.2 2 being used, but never shows M.2 2 bring used alone.
