Hello, I have a problem of setting the right boot priority of my display cards in PCIe slots.
My motherboard is MSI P45 Neo2-2FR with the latest BIOS(1.6) [<-It is old, I know but I invested too much on the CPU and DDR2 ram.] and I have 2 display cards: MSI GTX690 in first PCIe slot(its the first pcie slot when you count from the location of CPU) and a GAINWARD 9600GSO in second PCIe slot.
As GTX 690 is basically 2 cards on the same board, i set them to SLI mode while 9600GSO act as a dedicated PhysX card in Nvidia control panel but that shouldn't be a problem when booting up.
**********
The problem is that no matter which slot I put my GTX690 in, the motherboard boots from the 9600GSO, I tried to set "Primary Graphic's Adapter" in "Advance BIOS Features" and I only got either PCI or PCIE to choose from and it doesn't solve the problem.
That means if I want to see any POST message, I must plug one of my monitors to the 9600GSO otherwise there will be no signal to the monitors til windows start.
Is it a common problem for multi-display cards? any advises?
