Hello, I will keep this short! I am upgrading my build to a R9 7950x3d, FE 3090, with a Asus Tuf x670e-plus. I am trying to get the most performance out of the lanes and was wondering where I should place each component from my previous build. The components are 990 Pro 2TB, 980 Pro, 970 EVO. I have a HYPER m.2 card and a thunderbolt card as well. Currently I have the 990, and 980 on the 5.0 and 4.0 m.2 slots and evo in the card. Any suggestions for better optimization? Curious to hear y'alls thoughts.

MB has 4 M.2 NVMe slots but 3 drives. 990 pro and 980 pro are gen4 so first two M.2 slots are best for them. Although 970 Evo is Gen3, it will still work full speed in third M.2 slot or you can put it in fourth without loosing any performance. HYPER M.2 is needed only for creation of bootable NVMe RAID arrays using CPU PCIe lanes
