Pcie lane clip half closed

I have just replaced my gpu with a Asus strix Rx 570 and the clip at the end of the pcie lane is half closed, it feels like it won't fall out after gently tugging it and it looks like it is all the way in and is getting power

Mind sharing a pic of the culprit? With the clip open(pulled back) the GPU when dropped into place should cause the lock to latch on to the GPU's rear end of the connector.

Just saw you new link. See if you pull the latch upwards to cover the edge/lip of the GPU's connector end.

I have tried but it doesn't seem to want to :/

Edit: My dad pushed it in quite hard and the clip latched on

the card was not in strait it did sit in the back before getting it so it was at a angle have to be flat for the clip to lock on easely .
