PCIe lanes are confusing

I'm planning on my first pc build and I just want to make sure I've understood this right.

If I install 2 gpu's on this motherboard https://www.amazon.com/ASRock-Z270-PRO4-CrossFireX-Motherboard/dp/B01NCEGBY5, will they both work in x8 mode considering I will use https://www.amazon.com/Intel-i5-7500-Desktop-Processor-BX80677I57500/dp/B01MZZJ1P0, which provides 16 PCIe lanes.
Will https://www.amazon.com/Crucial-MX500-250GB-NAND-Internal/dp/B0764WCXCV use PCIe lanes provided by the chipset in question and not interfer with the PCIe lanes used by the gpu's?

I'm suprised by how much you need to consider when building these things. Maybe after a few builds this will go like a dance, maybe.

Solution
First of all, this board supports only CrossFire, so that would need to be AMD GPUs to make them work together (unless you don't want that). Second, because of that CrossFire the lower x16 slot works only in x4 mode, so best you can get is x8/x4, not x8/x8. Finally, if you install anything into lowest PCIe slot or PCI slot, the middle slot will go down from x4 to x2, making it x8/x2. It has nothing to do how many lanes CPU has, just the technical limitations of the board itself.
Good news is the SSD you linked is SATA drive so it indeed uses only chipset lanes, not interfering with GPUs at all.

mmmm... So it's not possible for 2 gpu's to work separately in x8/x8. I'm interested in machine learning and I'd like to have the option of adding 2 gpu's in case I want to get into deep learning. SLI/Crossfire is not needed for deep learning and I'm not even sure if they fit together. I was talking with the customer service and they recommended this motherboard https://www.amazon.com/ASRock-Z270-KILLER-SLI-Motherboards/dp/B01N6NWA0L. Would this motherboard suit my needs?

Yes, that motherboard will let you use two GPUs at x8/x8.
