Question PciE M.2 Adapter not working.

Hello friends! I purchased an adapter for an M.2 nvme SSD. I already had one space on my board but decided why not get a second one instead of just upgrading the one to more storage. I'm having trouble getting the PC to recognize it. It has power. I will attach the specs below for all of it. Does anyone know what I must do to make it recognize this as a storage device?
