Long as it is still connected. It hasn't lifted from the board. The pins are really in the slot, and they are spring loaded so they will either have made that groove, or will slide into. Might be worth looking in the slot for debris that could have gotten between the pad and the pin, that could have caused the groove as well.

Man I've had so much problems with this card like when I put the pc to sleep it doesn't want to resume or taking the card in out makes the network drivers stop working
