Question PCIe NVME expansion card not being detected

I bought a PCIe expansion card that fits 4 NVME drives. I cannot get any of them to be detected.

I'm using a MSI z370 PC pro motherboard.
I read that my motherboard cannot have anything in the second M2 slot for the second x16 PCIe slot to work - I have done this and still nothing.

Any help is appreciated

NVMEs are 3x WD Black XN850 2tb and 1x Samsung 980 evo (or pro idk)

Anything happens if you try it with one single drive?

(and I sincerely hope you're not wanting to do some RAID thing with this)

Yep theres only 1 drive in it atm and nothing is detected in bios, disk manager or disk part. No, I don't want raid, i'd rather they all show up as seperate drives
