I was using a 1050ti which needs 6 pins, i switched to the 1070ti which needs 8 pins.
My cord for the 1050ti had 6+2 pins, so I hooked up the 1070ti and added the +2 and it still gives me the error message.
- FYI when i go back to the 1050ti 6PINS ONLY it works fine.
-1070ti GPU lights up and fan moves everytime i turn it on when I DO hook it up.

Reseat both ends of the modular PCIe cable.

You should have multiple PCIe plugs. Try multiple.

The +2 pins latch in front of the other 6 pins.
unfortunately due to circumstance, i only have this one pcie plug, until sunday. and yeah i made sure its on the right way. i said in another forum \should i try the other 8 pin option on the psu. there are 2 one for cpu and one for gpu i think it says. and should i flip the pcie cable and try that too?
