I own a ASUS PRIME Z270-K, and im planning to buy a PCIe riser cable, to mount my 1060 vertical. I am doing this to make room for a old GT 610 that I will be using for my extra monitor which doesn't need to show a monstreous performance, because I want to use my 1060 for my new 4K screen only, to maximize it's performance. And the heatsync on the GT 610 is a custom sync, so its a bit bigger than normal and I can probably not fit them under each other.

So I was wondering if I can use a PCIe riser cable on my ASUS mobo? I am a bit confused because i once heard that something could be a bit funky with ASUS mobo's and PCIe riser cables...
