have you tried plugging in your monitor to both the onboard and gfx card? have you checked the power requirements?(ive had that happen)

off of experience, when i first got this pc i only had a 20 pin 300W psu, i needed a 24 pin 450W psu... with the 300watt one it would start up all the fans but nothing would happen, so just some suggestions

Ya, I tried plugging in both the motherboard and gfx out. But the onbord only working. The gforce 9500gt does not require any external power.
