PCIE slots on HPE h8-1012c Desktop

This is Carmel board. I wish to move to SATA 3 and USB 3. Does anyone know if the PCIE X1 slots are PCIE 1.0 X1 or PCIE 2.0 X1?

I believe they would be PCI-E 2.0 slots. Either way, any PCI-E x1 card should be compatible.

Thank you! Actually, you are correct. Ran PC Wizard and it says my PCI-E x1 slots are 2.0. It makes a difference as the max speed through the 1.0 slot would have been 250MBs which is slower than SATAII. I am thinking about getting a SATA3 USB3 combo board and then I can hook my new SATA 3 SSD up for the max speeds as well as have USB3 ports available. I think I am liking a Star Tech board.
