PCIe SSD HDD work with my motherboard?

Hi All
Not sure whether I understand correctly. I have a Gigabyte 990FXA mobo - the one like this:

The question I have is - I am wondering whether the following PCIe SSD will work on the motherboard I have?

The product says PCIe x 3 whereas I think my mobo only has PCIe version 1?

You have PCIE2.0 and ssd uses 3.0. It's still compatible though with no performance loss
