The physical interface of that wireless card(and all wireless card have that interface) is PCIe x1 and the lenght of PCIe x16 is greater than x1 slot.

Not true. You can actually use a PCIe x1 (or x4 or x8) card in a x16 slot. While not applicable in this particular case (what with the mini-ITX board and all that), just keep in mind that if you're currently using any other x16 slots, plugging a x1 device into a second x16 slot will take some of its PCIe lanes away.
